Hadoop Administrator

Work across multiple clusters supporting multi-tiered applications in the big data domain
Provide production support for tier 1 applications and enterprise platforms
Deal with service disruptions, configuration management, new feature deployment, and new product implementations

Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications)

Experience with Hadoop administration, particularly with Cloudera distribution
Proficiency supporting Spark, Hive, Impala, and Hue within the Hadoop ecosystem
Experience with Red Hat Linux administration
Experience in managing and optimizing big data infrastructures
Knowledge of configuration management and feature deployment processes
Excellent documentation skills for maintaining best practices and standard operating procedures
