Overview of the Role

As an Aluminum Fabrication Specialist, you'll engage in high-volume TIG welding within our production environment. You'll utilize hand tools and state-of-the-art fabrication equipment to create premium products that align with company expectations for safety, quality, and timely delivery. In this role, your contributions are pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction through products that meet precise specifications and delivery schedules.

Core Responsibilities

• Safety Commitment: Consistently apply all safety guidelines and ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to enhance both safety and productivity. Your work area should be kept orderly to facilitate a safer work environment.
• Quality Assurance: Execute TIG welding and structural cosmetic welding tasks, honing in on details specified in engineering blueprints and work orders. Scrutinize components for any defects and log accurate details in the Global Shop System.
• Timely Delivery: Adhere strictly to work orders and engineering directives to complete assignments promptly. Operate diverse fabrication tools to aid in assembly, showing readiness to extend work hours when necessary to fulfill deadlines.

Skills and Proficiencies:

• Expert troubleshooting and setup of welding operations for consistent output.
• Adept at interpreting blueprints with precision.

Technological Proficiency Includes:

• Skilled operation of TIG and stick welders, along with flux-cored arc and robotic welders.
