What You'll Do
As a Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor, you will:
Provide clinical services, including therapy sessions (individual, group, or family) and community support.
Maintain accurate and timely client records, including treatment planning, assessments, and service notes.
Handle documentation for funding and billing (Medicaid, MCO funding, and third-party billing).
Identify resources and provide necessary support for clients.
Participate in team meetings, supervision, and occasional crisis phone rotations (1-2 times per year).
Provide SAIOP services occasionally, as needed.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
A Master's degree in a Human Services field.
Licensure:
Fully or provisionally licensed to practice clinically (e.g., LCSW, LCAS, LMFT, LPC). Preference for fully licensed LCSWs.
Skills & Knowledge:
Experience working with individuals or groups with mental health or substance use disorders.
Proficiency with dual diagnosis treatment, DSM-V models, and the 12 Core Functions.
Familiarity with electronic medical records.
Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
