GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Wyoming Game and Fish Department seeks a Business Office Coordinator II to manage the daily operations of the Wildlife Division’s Administration Office in our Cheyenne Headquarters. The Wildlife Division has approximately 190 Full-Time Employees (FTEs) in 16 work units (8 statewide and 8 regional). This position will assist the Wildlife Division Chief, Wildlife Deputy Chiefs (3), and work unit supervisors in program planning and tracking ongoing projects and initiatives in the Division to ensure continuity of operations in the Department’s largest Division. This position will track the Wildlife Division's commitments to the Director’s Office, Wyoming Game and Fish Commission (Commission), and other Divisions and ensure high-quality products are produced and submitted within assigned deadlines. This position will supervise a Business Office Coordinator I and delegate tasks and assignments as necessary to complete Division obligations. This position will research and gather data on a range of topics for reports, presentations, and white papers. This position will coordinate travel, meetings, and statewide training logistics for the Division. This position will coordinate the logistics of all hiring processes in the Division and work closely with Human Resources (HR) to ensure compliance with applicable statutes, rules, and procedures. Preference may be given to those with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.

0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Business Office Coordinator I

4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Business Office Coordinator I
