Job Description

TeleVac South, a well-established, busy storm drain and sanitary sewer service company working with municipalities and other entities, is looking to hire a Vactor/Vacuum Truck Operator.

• The Vactor/Vacuum truck operator will be required to drive and operate the truck at assigned/scheduled job sites on a daily basis. 
• Must be willing and able to travel out of town with crews as needed. 
• TeleVac South provides each crew member his/her own hotel room if the work involves overnight stays. 
• Each Vacuum truck operator will be assigned a laborer/helper to assist with daily jobs.
• The job will consist of cleaning, jetting pipelines and hydro-excavation for our clients.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50#.
• Be able and willing to learn and practice all TeleVac South safety rules at all times.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be a team player, reliable and focused.
• The candidate must possess a valid Florida driver's license in good standing.
• The candidate must have a Class A or B CDL with tanker endorsement in good standing with 2 years of CDL experience.
• Previous vacuum truck experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate on operation of Vactor.
