Position: Clinician Scheduler
Type: 4-6 Month Contract
Schedule:
Shift: 8-10 hours per day between 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (in your time zone), five days a week, with one weekend day required.
Example shifts: Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
Training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (one week).
About the Role
We're seeking an organized and proactive Clinician Scheduler to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of 70-100 behavioral health clinicians to create and manage their schedules. Your efforts will ensure their availability aligns with practice goals and clinician needs, making a tangible impact on the quality of care delivered.
You'll play a vital part in transitioning clinician schedules to a new electronic health records (EHR) system and supporting smooth operations during this period of change. This is a fully remote position, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your scheduling expertise in a fast-paced virtual healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
EHR Scheduling Mastery: Participate in an accelerated training program to learn and efficiently navigate our new EHR scheduling tool.
Schedule Management: Transition clinician schedules from the old EHR to the new system, ensuring accuracy and minimal disruption.
Dedicated Support: Manage schedule templates and execute changes for a group of assigned clinicians, responding promptly to ongoing requests and updates.
Collaborative Partnering: Work closely with practice operations, implementation teams, and behavioral health clinician liaisons to ensure schedules meet operational and clinician expectations.
What We're Looking For
Experience: At least one year of scheduling experience, preferably in a virtual healthcare setting or similarly fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Confidence in learning new systems quickly and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
Independence: Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setting, managing priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy and a commitment to keeping schedules organized and error-free.
