THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE TALLAHASSEE OFFICE.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Location: Centre of Tallahassee Building, 2415 N. Monroe Street, Suite 400 Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Regular business hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday.
Some travel may be required.
Current employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.
Job Description:
In this position, you will serve as a contract manager responsible for composing, coordinating, controlling, executing, and monitoring contractual agreements of multiple specialized contracts for the Office of Child & Family Well-Being. You will be responsible for enforcing the terms and conditions of all assigned contracts and will serve as a liaison between the Department and providers, as well as other agencies, and program offices.

Required Qualifications:
• High School diploma or its equivalent and five (5) years of professional contract management experience. Completion of bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university can substitute for up to four (4) years of the professional contact management experience. • Must successfully complete training in contract management and become a certified contract manager within six months of hire in accordance with section 287.057(15)(c), F.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Possess a Florida Certified Contract Manager Certificate (FCCM). • Working knowledge and experience using MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) applications (i.e., Buyer, Sourcing, Vendor Information Portal, etc.), of contract or grant management, auditing invoices for contracted vendors or service providers, or of program research and evaluation.
• Professional administrative work experience (i.e., supervisory, managerial, purchasing agent, budget analyst, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
