What You'll Do
As a CPR Trainer, you'll play a critical role in building confidence and expertise in life-saving skills for individuals and teams. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:
Facilitate Training: Conduct engaging CPR training sessions for individuals and groups, ensuring participants master the correct procedures.
Develop Materials: Create and update training materials based on the latest guidelines and best practices in CPR.
Provide Feedback: Offer personalized guidance to participants, helping them refine their skills and build confidence.
Evaluate & Improve: Assess the effectiveness of training sessions and suggest improvements to enhance participant outcomes.
Collaborate: Work with other trainers and healthcare professionals to keep our programs up-to-date and relevant.
Stay Current: Keep yourself informed about the latest research in CPR techniques and integrate new findings into your sessions.
Travel: Be open to traveling frequently across neighboring islands to deliver training sessions.
What You Bring to the Team
We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, so even if you don't meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply and share your story! Here's what we're ideally looking for:
Certification as a CPR instructor from a recognized organization like the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for teaching individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Up-to-date knowledge of CPR guidelines and the ability to incorporate this knowledge into training programs.
Experience in adult education or training, including developing effective materials and lesson plans.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Flexibility to travel across neighbor islands as needed.
