El ectronics Technician II ROLE We need an Electronics Technician II for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. NIWC Pacific provides advanced technology and integrated solutions to support the mission of the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense entities. Your role as a Technician Electronics II for the NIWC Pacific will be to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES - Install and configure electronic systems and components.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct tests to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE - 3 years of professional experience in electronics maintenance and repair.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electronic components.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS - Associate's degree in electronics or a related field.
- Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 1 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
- A+ CE
- CCNA-Security
- CND
- Network+ CE
- SSCP
DESIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS - Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 1 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
- A+ CE
- CCNA-Security
- CND

- OR; Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 2 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;

LOCATION CLEARANCE - Confidential clearance required.
- Must handle classified information in accordance with DoD regulations.
- Annual security refresher training required.

TRAVEL WORK HOURS - Full-time = 40 hours a week, 8 hours a day
