Salary: 81,250 - 146,875 USD per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent engineering or science degree with relevant experience, plus a minimum of 4 years of experience. A Master's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred. We require candidates to demonstrate expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• Extensive knowledge of C and C++ programming languages, as well as various microprocessor assembly languages.
• Experience with communication protocols (UART, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN).
• Familiarity with software versioning and release cycles.
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation, test equipment, and debug/test methods for both software and hardware.
• Candidates must be capable of thriving in a collaborative engineering environment, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and must have experience effectively communicating within a team setting. Additionally, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain a Final Secret Clearance. We prefer candidates who are residents of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.

Responsibilities:

• As an Embedded Software Developer, I expect you to be responsible for the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and software-intensive systems and products. This entails applying appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
• Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Analyzing software requirements.
• Evaluating hardware compatibility and developing software products and tools used for design.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure and platforms.
• You will also need to actively support the resolution of technical issues that arise during product development, integration, and testing. This will involve troubleshooting, assessing bugs and deficiencies for root cause, and identifying corrective actions.
