We’re looking for an Environmental Scientist to work with our Water Resources team. This is a hybrid position where you’ll be afforded the flexibility to work from both the office as well as from home to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance.

  • Advanced degree or doctorate in Natural Sciences or Environmental Science from an accredited college or university or other closely related degree.

  • 12 to 15 years of professional experience delivering environmental science projects.

  • Attributes that include good oral and written communication, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach.

  • Experience leading teams toward a common goal.

  • Proven track record working with stakeholders and the scientific community.

As a passionate Jacobs employee, you'll leverage your technical skills to help lead your team members to discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. Your role keeps our company connected and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful. Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment, and extreme organizational skills, and we’ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together.
