Job Description

Elkhorn Ridge RV Resort is looking to add Event Staff to our strong team. We are looking for a responsible, motivated self starter that is willing to learn and grow. Event Staff will work events including Weddings, Family Reunions, RV Rallies and special weekly events taking place at the Resort and on the Frawley Ranch.

This position will be responsible for assisting patrons at entertainment events by performing duties such as assuming the role of point of contact, welcoming guests, inspecting equipment and venues for damage after use, and checking equipment against an inventory list, among other duties. This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service.

Job Tasks will include:

• Unloading equipment from trucks and trailer
• Setting up venues for events, including chairs and building stages.
• Working under the instructions of the Event Coordinator.
• Ensuring the event venue is clean and organized.
• Adhering to event safety standards.
• Ensuring excellent levels of customer service.
• Undertaking security duties.
• Setting up lighting and sound equipment.
• Working at a bar and serving food and drinks.
• Dispensing useful information to guests.
• Inspecting equipment and venues for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list.
• Packing up equipment when the event is completed.

This position will require working indoors and outdoors. The position will require lifting up to 50lbs.
