Position Overview
As a Financial Analyst / Assistant to the CFO, you will support our CFO in a variety of corporate finance and administrative tasks, contributing to our financial operations and ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who is fluent in both English and Mandarin and has an understanding of basic accounting principles. You will assist in preparing corporate filings, organizing board meetings, and coordinating shareholder communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate confidently in English and Mandarin, engaging with external investors and presenting information during conferences as needed.
Corporate Filings: Assist in the preparation, coordination, and submission of corporate filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Board Meetings: Coordinate and support board meetings, including the preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
Shareholder Communications: Help draft and distribute shareholder communication materials, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) (Preferred): Support the CFO with basic financial planning and analysis tasks as needed, including data analysis and financial modeling.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Leverage advanced Excel skills to organize, analyze, and present financial data effectively.
Office Support: Utilize Microsoft Office tools to create presentations, reports, and manage data efficiently.
Qualifications:
Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is essential, with strong English communication skills for external presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge Base: Basic understanding of accounting principles; experience with FP&A is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the logistics or warehousing sectors.
Previous experience in a publicly traded company will be considered an advantage.
