We're seeking a skilled and passionate Hairstylist to join our spa team at a picturesque waterfront resort, focusing on delivering exceptional hair styling experiences for our guests.

As a Hairstylist, you will demonstrate mastery in hair styling techniques, staying updated on the latest trends, doing blowouts, and wedding hair. Create a welcoming and personalized atmosphere, ensuring guests leave with fabulous, styled hair. Provide tailored consultations, recommending and executing top-notch hair styling services.

You will be working your magic on a full-time seasonal basis from Spring to Fall. Weekends, nights, and holidays are a must.

Responsibilities:

• Quickly responds to customer concerns about hair styling
• Styles hair per customer's request
• Helps foster and maintain a relaxed and positive salon atmosphere
• Attends trainings and informative programs
• Keeps tools and workstation clean
• Maintains a professional and friendly customer approach

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of beauty service experience
• Cosmetology or barber license
• Knowledge of different hair tools and products
• Creative, artistic, and innovative
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to stand for extended hours
• High attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Must be able to work early mornings, late nights and unpredictable hours, including weekends and holidays.

Performance Measurement:
90 Day performance review, annual performance review, attendance, productivity, feedback from others, Guest Response scores, etc.
