Job Description

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Healthcare Quality Data Analyst to fill an opening with a Fortune 500 Healthcare Organization in Columbia, MD .
Daily Responsibilities for Healthcare Quality Data Analyst:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality data reports, liaison with the national Value Based Solutions (VBS) based contracting data team on data needs and reports and complete the extensive and ongoing analysis needed to drill into member level data to determine the interventions for improvement in all the HEDIS MDH Performance Measures.
Will assist with the VBS program with providers and the conversion to a new value based contracting model, Aetna Value Incentive Program (AVIP).
Will identify and assist with identification of specific interventions based on their review of the efficacy and cost of the interventions we are currently doing, and new interventions implemented.
M-F: 8a-5p
Required Qualifications for Healthcare Quality Data Analyst:
2-3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications for Healthcare Quality Data Analyst:
At least 2-3+ years of managed care experience or other healthcare entities.
Claims data experience
Expert in Excel including; Macros/VBA and Power Query
Proficient/formal training with Structured Query Language (SQL)
HEDIS experience
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration/Health Analytics or related field
