Expected salary range of $123,300 - $137,000 varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).
Primary Purpose of Position
The position manages local government affairs and other stakeholder relations for Constellation. The Manager, Local Government Affairs will report to the Senior Manager, State Government Affairs and will be responsible for managing local relationships as well as strategic and tactical activities, primarily in areas where Constellation owns and operates significant assets. The primary purpose of this position is to support Constellation in building and managing relationships with county and local elected officials, agencies and other stakeholders (both governmental and non-governmental), in addition to assisting with broader State Government Affairs advocacy efforts and other initiatives. This includes supporting and participating in local business organizations, coalitions and advocacy organizations that support company interests and State Government Affairs initiatives and serving as liaison between the business and local policymakers and, where relevant, surrounding community. The position identifies relevant emerging issues and timely communicates with company leadership, as appropriate. The position works cross functionally with internal and external resources to help develop and execute strategies to advocate for and implement policy objectives.
