Job Title: Member Services Representative (Fully Remote)

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Approximately 3 months for Open Enrollment)

Schedule:

Regular shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (based on your time zone)
Training: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET (First 4 weeks)
Important Scheduling Notes:

No time off will be approved through January 31st. Absences during this period may result in the end of your assignment.
Requests for time off after January 31st will be reviewed based on department availability.
Breaks and lunches are scheduled and fixed:
30-minute lunch
Two 15-minute breaks (before and after lunch)
Role Overview: As a Member Services Representative (MSR), you'll play a key role in providing outstanding customer service by assisting callers with inquiries about dental benefits, eligibility, provider information, claims, pre-estimates, pre-authorizations, grievances, appeals, and other requests.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Address billing questions, policy changes, and account updates with care and accuracy.
Escalate complex issues to senior team members or supervisors when necessary.
Document all customer interactions in the system to ensure a clear and accurate record.
Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory guidelines.
Manage a high call volume, handling 80+ calls per day.
Strive to maintain a quality score of 95% or higher.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED (or equivalent)
At least 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment, with at least 1 year of healthcare administrative or related experience
Skills and Experience:

Strong listening skills to ensure effective customer interactions
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Exceptional customer service abilities
Familiarity with dental terminology and practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
Bilingual candidates are highly preferred
