This is a remote position.

Our client, a dynamic cloud solutions team based out of California, specializing in assisting businesses with cloud adoption and migration, optimizing time and cost efficiency through their no-code platform that streamlines multi-cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management, is currently seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer/Architect to join their innovative startup.

Preferred Location: Canada | United States | South Asia

Travel Requirement: This role involves US travel every 3-4 months; candidates must be authorized to travel to/within the US.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures, automating network and security operations, and ensuring the highest levels of security for our cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure network architectures using Cisco technologies (Routing, Switching, Security: ISE, StealthWatch, FirePower, FMC, PaloAlto Firewalls).
  
• Automate network and security operations using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
  
• Ensure security best practices are followed in our Azure cloud environment (experience with other clouds is a plus).
  
• Interface with customers to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
  
• Produce high-quality documentation for network and security designs.
  
• Work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  

Requirements

• CCIE Security certification (valid number required).
  
• Proven experience in network security architecture and automation.
  
• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and cloud security (Azure required).
  
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a startup environment .
