Production Assistant

Job Summary

This role is vital in ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and supporting our manufacturing team in daily operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of the Production Coordinator, you will:

Coordinate daily manufacturing operations by:

• Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials
• Preparing work orders and production schedules based on customer specifications
• Completing assembly builds and cut sheets
• Assisting with quality control checks at various stages of production
• Maintaining accurate production records and documentation

Handle administrative tasks including:

• Updating production tracking systems
• Maintaining material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Recording production metrics and preparing reports
• Coordinating with shipping/receiving on incoming materials and outgoing products
• Assisting with cycle counts and inventory management

Qualifications:

1. 1. **Experience:**Three to five years of relevantproduction and/or accounting experience

   1. **Skills: **1. Detail oriented and strong analytical skills.

      1. Ability to make calculations and analyze data.

      2. Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications.

      3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Able to handle multiple high priority issues at the same time.
• Able to work constructively under stress and pressure
• Possesses basic computer skills.
• Treats employees fairly.
• Able to diagnose problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Possesses ability to make sound, pragmatic, and timely decisions.

Preferred:

1. Related experience in thefenceindustry.

2. Familiarity withNetsuiteERP system.
