Production Supervisor - Job Description Summary:

Company Overview: A manufacturing company specializing in the production of gun parts for uppers and lowers, primarily serving government contracts.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Machine Operation:

   • Proficient operation of machines, particularly Okuma and Hydromat, for production tasks.

2. Programming Skills:

   • Ability to program Okuma and Hydromat machines effectively.

3. Robotics Knowledge:

   • Familiarity with Fanuc robotics systems.

4. Technical Skills:

   • Understanding of GD&T principles.

   • Blueprint reading proficiency.

   • Knowledge of PLC operation.

   • Experience with Calypso software.

5. Quality Assurance:

   • Conducting measurements using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy.

6. Team Management:

   • Supervising a team of 8 employees, with expectations to hire about 20 machine operators by year-end.

   • Overseeing operations for both 1st and 2nd shifts.

7. Reporting Structure:

   • Reporting directly to the Sales/Operations Manager.

Desired Qualities:

• Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage the team effectively.

• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

• Problem-solving mindset to address production challenges promptly.

• Prior experience in the firearms industry is advantageous.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
