Real Estate Investment Analyst Roch Capital Real Estate Investment, the investment arm of Roch Capital Inc. (pronounced Rock) is looking for an Investment Analyst to join its team. The team is continuing to build a broad commercial real estate portfolio, currently with a focus on hospitality. This position reports to the GlenMills, PA headquarters Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. The candidate will provide analysis and support for potential hospitality investment/acquisition opportunities that match portfolio goals. The role will have the opportunity for growth as the team continues to build the existing portfolio and the overall commercial real estate platform of the company. The role will report to the companys Glen Mills, PA headquarters. Investment Analyst Responsibilities Work daily with property specific information to determine potential investment returns. Construct, manipulate, and continuously modify Excel-based models to calculate returns including IRR, NPV, and cash returns, both on a property level basis, as well as Roch-specific returns if proceeds split on a joint venture basis in some cases. Support the transaction process in order to complete due diligence on targeted acquisitions. Gather, monitor, and produce information regarding target geographical markets and target property types. Support ad hoc group activities including research projects, new supply/competition reports, potential dispositions, expense analysis, contract analysis, and budget vs. actual comparisons. Administrative support including the maintenance of deal flow database (Sugar), submission and tracking of Confidentiality Agreements, and setup of new deal specific files as well as other organizational responsibilities. Work with property management to ensure proper execution of business plan. Requirements Strong analytical skills Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills A well-organized individual capable of multi-tasking and meeting multiple deadlines on their own in a deadline driven environment Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Finance required, a minor in, or experience with a Hospitality Program preferred.
