Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion

Location : Gainesville, FL

Shift : 12-Hour Days, 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)

Shift Times : 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Schedule : Rotating Weekends

Hourly Rate : $30.60 - $45.90 per hour

Job Overview :

You will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing oncology treatments, dialysis, or infusion therapies. This is a great opportunity for nurses with acute care experience in oncology, dialysis, or infusion, especially those with experience in transplant and cellular therapy (TCT), bone marrow transplant (BMT), or blood and marrow transplant programs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive infusion care to patients in the TCT Unit, including chemotherapy, blood product infusions, and cellular therapy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and families on the treatment process, side effects, and post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
• Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in oncology and infusion therapy

Qualifications :

• 1+ year of recent acute care experience (preferably within the last year)
• Acute care oncology experience, dialysis, or infusion therapy experience required
• Experience in Transplant & Cellular Therapy (TCT), Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), or Blood and Marrow Transplant programs highly preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida or current active multistate license
• ONS Chemotherapy Provider certification required
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
