Retail Sales Manager - Men's Clothing Store

Location: Ted’s Clothiers 3476 S Broadway Englewood, Co. 80113
Department: Retail Sales
Reports To: Store Manager/Owner

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Manager to lead our men's clothing store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in retail management. This role is responsible for driving sales, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and overseeing daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Profitability:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyze sales reports to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Drive promotional activities and in-store events to boost sales.
  • Customer Service:
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience through excellent service and personalized shopping assistance.
  • Resolve customer complaints and handle returns or exchanges professionally.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales associates to build a competent and motivated team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage labor costs effectively.
  • Inventory and Merchandising:
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and receiving merchandise.
  • Implement visual merchandising strategies to create appealing and organized displays.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Store Operations:
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
  • Financial Management:
  • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the store.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare financial reports and present them to the upper management.
  • Market Awareness:
  • Stay updated on the latest fashion trends and industry developments.
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Build relationships with local communities and businesses to promote the store.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Retail Sales Manager or similar role in the fashion retail industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for men's fashion and a keen eye for detail.
