Work Schedule : 100% FTE. This is a salaried paid position. Monday through Friday. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. This is a remote position.

- We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:
- Advise clinicians regarding complete and accurate Outpatient /Clinic documentation including accurate HCC capture.
- Function as a liaison between clinicians and coders.
- Work as an expert source for information regarding the impact of documentation on patient care, quality outcomes measures, HCC risk adjustment, and to ensure correct reimbursement.
- Conduct pre and post visit reviews of outpatient/clinic medical records-seeking clarification of documentation. (I think the first part is understood and I would have the rest of this be it's own bullet point)

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years of nursing, case management, utilization review or quality resources experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting Required
- 3 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience highly desirable Preferred
- 5 years of nursing, case management, utilization review, or quality resources experience in an acute care setting Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist Preferred
