Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Salesforce Support Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in training and supporting our clients' needs related to Salesforce.com. You should have experience in collaborating with teams across various business units and a passion for helping clients succeed.
Position Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze clients' business requirements, transforming them into technical specifications for Salesforce design.
- Utilize Salesforce best practices to minimize custom development needs.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation outlining standard operating procedures for clients.
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to our customers.
- Conduct audits of Salesforce configurations and provide detailed optimization plans.
- Identify and communicate project risks and issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Facilitate the successful migration and implementation of Salesforce for new organizations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique business needs and customize Salesforce accordingly.
- Build strong relationships with clients, demonstrating your expertise in business processes to advise executives and stakeholders.
- Create and manage custom fields, objects, flows, record types, data validation, page layouts, and third-party integrations.
- Develop tailored reports and dashboards based on client requirements.
- Manipulate and import data into Salesforce using various ETL tools.
- Stay updated on new Salesforce features and functionalities, offering recommendations for process improvements.
- Efficiently manage tasks within the project management system.
- Apply training and direction from management accurately to achieve or exceed monthly targets.
- Adhere to company policies and values, contributing positively to our collaborative work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Highly motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and data architecture.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce as an end-user, or 6 months as a Salesforce admin.
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a process-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- Experience with online screen sharing tools such as RingCentral Meetings, WebEx, GoToMeeting, or Join.Me.
- Knowledge of SQL or SOQL.
- Additional Salesforce certifications such as Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or CPQ Specialist.
- Background in business analysis or sales experience.
- Experience working with both SMB and Enterprise organizations, as well as Non-Profit organizations.
- Understanding of release management and software development lifecycle.
