This is a Senior role within the Internal Audit Department, reporting to the Manager, IT Internal Audit. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of Audit and Advisory Review engagements to assess, report on, and recommend value-added & practical improvements to address Cushman & Wakefield’s cyber risk management, control governance processes, and IT-enabled operations. The Senior will contribute to Internal Audit’s monitoring of C&W’s technology risk landscape by staying abreast of technology industry trends and developments within the internal IT environment. This is a high-visibility role and the candidate will be a trusted business advisor and advocate for the Information Security & Risk Services group (ISRS) within the Technology & Data Services (TDS) organization as they continue to navigate the rigor in the internal control requirements and other priorities. The candidate is expected to build a strong network across a rapidly changing IT organization and rotate into a position of increasing responsibility within the next 3-5 years.

JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partner closely with ISRS, TDS, and Business stakeholders to deliver advisory services to the business and control stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency and operability of new and existing controls and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Seek to fully understand C&W’s defense-in-depth approach to cyber defense and proactively research and showcase firm understanding of new trends and developments within cybersecurity space.
• Ability to ‘coach others’, and ‘be coached’ (by peers, management, and partners).
• Possesses understanding of: ITGCs, Cybersecurity, Cloud, GRC, SDLC, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Strong understanding and ability to deliver on the end-to-end Audit & Advisory Review delivery life cycle.
• Experience with Automation and/or Data Analytics tools.
• Ability to be flexible and pinch-hit where needed.

REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Education and/or Experience):

• 1-3 years of performing IT audits with a public accounting firm and/or internal auditing or accounting role with a publicly traded or privately held firm.
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Accounting/Finance, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Demonstrates knowledge of IIA Professional Practices and Standards
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities, while meeting all deadlines
• Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and build relationships with Senior Leadership and colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills, including listening and interviewing skills and influencing skills with ability to discuss complex issues clearly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of the commercial real estate industry preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS and/or PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Located in Chicago, IL
• Ability to travel 10 – 25% as needed. Hybrid work model when not traveling.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00
