Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telecom Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with expertise in analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and delivering solutions that align with strategic objectives. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders to enhance operational processes and support critical telecom projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across telecom operations, engineering, and IT teams to understand business needs and gather requirements.
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and data requirements to drive telecom projects and initiatives.
Define and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for telecom systems and processes.
Facilitate requirements review sessions with both business and technical teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance telecom operations.
Support project management tasks such as scope definition, timeline estimation, and resource planning.
Provide hands-on support during implementation and testing phases, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements specifications, process flows, and user stories.
Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer for end-users as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the telecom industry.
In-depth experience with the eTOM (Enhanced Telecom Operations Map) framework.
Strong understanding of telecom technologies and systems (e.g., CRM, billing, network management).
Proficiency in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation using tools like MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master s degree in a related field.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira for requirements management and progress tracking.
Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or project management (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster).
