Salary: 67,600 - 122,200 USD per year Requirements:

• I have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an Engineering or hard Science field (Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred) with 2+ years of overall engineering experience.
• I am a US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance and I can obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD).
• I understand that no initial clearance is needed to start the program; however, I must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• I live within commuting distance from the work site.
• I demonstrate an interest in modern communications networks and systems; with knowledge in technologies such as 5G cellular networks, cloud computing, and IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS); as well as services such as VoIP, Messaging, Data, and Video.
• I have training and/or experience in researching and objectively comparing alternatives.
• I interact well with a team, possess a positive attitude, have good verbal and written communication skills, and exhibit strong self-initiative and self-learning.
• I am proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities:

• I will conduct Requirements Analysis, System Architecting, Systems Engineering, Data Architectures Analysis, and Systems and Operational Performance Testing and Analysis.
• I will analyze service provider deliverables (solution design documents, test plans, etc.) and provide feedback and recommendations.
• I will propose and develop test cases/scenarios for service requirement verification.
• I will develop end products including technical documents, reports, and briefings for Leidos’ ECD customers.
• I will participate in virtual and in-person meetings with the Leidos team and Government staff.
• I will produce solutions to various problems in an expeditious and timely manner.
• Occasionally, I will make presentations to colleagues and Government customers.
• I will work independently or as part of a technical team to support systems engineering projects.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team supporting the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Emergency Communications Division (ECD) for the national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP) Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS) Program. This role involves interacting with Government personnel, other Government contractors, and US communications services providers to provide engineering analysis of future technologies and solutions for priority communications.

The pay range for this position is $67,600.00 - $122,200.00, which serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Various factors will be considered in extending an offer, including job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and market alignment.
