They offer outstanding benefits including an established work/life balance for all employees and a strong retirement plan. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEAD OF FINANCE :

• Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, procurement, information technology, and investment activities of all facilities.
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
• Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives, policies, and actions.
• Analyze financial detail of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
• Delegate authority for receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds, securities, and financial instruments.
• Evaluate needs for procurement of funds and investment of surpluses, and make appropriate recommendations.
• Lead staff training and development in budgeting and financial management areas.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE HEAD OF FINANCE ROLE :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• Demonstrated progressive accounting and leadership experience
• Experience working with an international team (Europe) is a plus.
• Industry experience in restaurant, hospitality, food/bev. manufacturing or distribution, or retail preferred.
