Salary: 122,200 - 220,900 USD per year Requirements:

• Typically requires Bachelor’s Degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Poly.
• Experience with containerization, especially with Docker.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially GitLab or Jenkins.
• Experience with Agile practices.
• Development and/or scripting experience, particularly in Python and Bash.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of system integration engineers to deploy release candidates to the production environment successfully.
• Participate in testing, staging, and production deployment processes.
• Assist in the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline, including Kafka, Elasticsearch, and various in-house written Python/Java microservices running on Kubernetes.
• Integrate Docker containers using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and other DevOpsSec integration tools.
• Monitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components.
• Manage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Foster a collaborative environment with team members to ensure quality service and product delivery to our customers.

You will impress us even more if you have experience with systems at scale, Appian, Appian Self-Assembling Interface Layer (SAIL), Kafka or other message-passing systems, production/enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and any of the following technologies: Kubernetes monitoring (e.g. Prometheus/Graphana), GPU-based Kubernetes, SALT for deployment automation, Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash (specifically admin experience), Helm and Helmfile, and Cloudera (including Kafka topic creation/management, Zookeeper, Solr, and Flume).
