About Kama Bistro

Kama Bistro is a modern, upscale Indian bistro offering a unique dining experience with elevated Indian cuisine, craft cocktails, and a curated selection of wines. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers .

As a Server at Kama Bistro, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience to our guests by delivering outstanding service, sharing menu knowledge, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure a seamless flow of service while upholding the restaurant's standards of hospitality.

• Greet guests warmly and provide an engaging dining experience.
• Present menus, explain dishes, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
• Be knowledgeable about the menu, including ingredients, allergens, spice levels, and wine pairings.
• Upsell and suggest menu pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Monitor tables, anticipate guest needs, and respond to requests efficiently.
• Ensure a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables for the next service.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all restaurant policies, health and safety regulations, and alcohol service guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient shift.
• Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues with a focus on hospitality.

• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and beverages (or willingness to learn).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• Must be at least 21 years old (or age as per local alcohol serving laws).
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
